Season 8
Division 1
Season 8 we had 3 divisions going. In the A division, Chiefs won the 2 of 3 finals against the Pits in two games, winning yet another title.
Division 2
In season 8, the B division had some good teams but in the end, a depleted Annonce123 team won it all.
Division 3
Season 8 in a tight game worthy of a final, CTH wins the C division!
Season 7
Division 1
Season 7 presented the league with the best parity in the A Division. No one got better than the New Champs who managed to cut down on penalties and secured some good goaltending for the most part all season. It was an exciting playoff run where the Pits big guns hit hard, saw yet another Garceau join the team and a successful transfer of Simon Leblanc at D. Pits cruised through the Milf Hunters, got rid of the Knights and finally disposed of the Rebels in the finals who had themselves battled hard against the Chiefs.
Division 2
Season 7 got us back to two divisions which unfortunately made it hard on some teams but brought the caliber up when we allowed some A players and who we deem Elite players to play in two divisions. Checkmates went from a good C team that lost their leading scorer to the Champs of the B Division despite that loss. Big, big part of that was new comer Pasquinel Bouchard. They easily passed Choix Du Chef in round 1, had a good game against CTH and managed to beat the reigning Champs by 1 goal in a hard played game for the cup.
Season 6
Division 1
Season 6 saw LSHL expand to 18 teams but with three divisions, competition was fierce in each with only 6 teams. Chiefs disposed of the Knights easily in round 2 (they had a by in round 1) and won a close game in the Finals against Rebels, though they never really lost the lead. 5 cups in 6 seasons, truly remarkable!
Division 2
Fightin Irish did not surprise anyone when they showed up in the finals, but Division B was probably the hardest to predict because the top 3 teams all had a good chance to win. You have to give credit to Fightin Irish though who dominated Youngbloodz in round 2 before scoring yet again over 10 goals in the Finals to take Division II honors
Division 3
The Inmates probably had the roughest road of all, having to go through all 3 rounds without a by, meeting Rackets' crazy offense in round 2 before having to defeat, in OT, the Cinderella team that was the Beer Bongs, with ONLY 6 players in the finals, they showed great determination.
Season 5
Division 1
Season 5 in Division I brought more of the same for the Chiefs, but with a few different faces. They dominated the regular season once again, faltering once in defeat but ensuring they would go all the way. Having only two rounds to win to hoist the cup once more, they beat their opposition at each turn. Pitbulls provided a challenge ONLY in the third period of their game while Rebels seemed defeated early in the second period. The Dynasty continues, who will come to take it down?
Division 2
Season 5 in Division II was a hard fought battle. Come playoff time, no team was considered heavily favorite. Few surprises early like Jackass and COQS deked out the experts. MILF Hunters had to fight through Solo Mobsters with a one goal win before defeating COQS with a bit more ease in round 2. They completed destroyed Jackass with a defensive wall allowing only 1 goal to a team that had scored 13 against #1 seed Wolverines the round before. Will they be able to continue winning in Division I, time will tell.
Season 4
Season 4 saw the competition for the cup become fierce with strong teams such as Physergo, Knights and the returning Chiefs and Blast all having their eyes on the cup. Yet teams that finished lower in the standings like Blue Devils and Pitbulls were still a threat. In the end, Blast abandoned the race and Chiefs went unmolested to the finals to meet Physergo. With a few seconds left, Physergo tied the game but was refused the goal by both referees because the net was moved. Chiefs lifted the LSHL cup for a third time in four years to solidify their dynasty.
Season 3
Season 3 brought the reigning champs a rival they would not be able to defeat. Blast came into the LSHL blazing, going undefeated all year and seizing the LSHL cup for themselves.
Season 2
Season 2 presented much of the same as season 1, except this time the Hamsters were the ones to impress with an undefeated record in the regular season. Falling short against the surprising Blue Devils, Chiefs eliminated the underdogs in 2 games on a controversial goal, Chiefs style. Still, the hate resonated quite strongly as the Chiefs became the team to beat in the LSHL
Season 1
Chiefs entered late in the season, using ressources pulled from the Knights to make a full team and what a team it was. With only one regular season loss to the Blue Busters, they cruised through the rest of the opposition, defeating team after team. Disposing of the Hamsters in the finals 10-7, they established their dynasty.
